The Chamber of Commerce of Brookline is a non-profit corporation which has been duly registered with the Department of State of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as of December 1955.
Membership is open to businesspersons, community residents and various civic organizations.
The Brookline Chamber of Commerce sponsors business promotions such as: Christmas Lighting on the Boulevard, Halloween Parade, Easter Egg Hunt, Community Picnic at Kennywood, Veteran's Memorial Trust and the Special Treasures Garage Sale
The Christmas 2006 Give-A-Way had two prizes. Both winners were from Brookline - Jill Bonner and Wendy Charlton. Jill entered at Kribel's Bakery and Wendy entered at The Medicine Shoppe. Watch this space for information on the Summer, 2007 Give-A-Way.
The Brookline Community Center is the place to be on Saturday, April 7, 2007. Bring the little ones for the Annual Easter Egg Hunt. The ages are 3 - 4 and 5 - 6. Festivities will be held indoors with the forecast of cold temperatures. Come one, come all at 2:00 PM! We also need some volunteers to help with egg distribution and crowd control.
